Inter Community Challenges 2008 – 2009
The 7 intercommunity challenges are shown below. Each of the 4 Communities should enter a team based on the rules of each Challenge. Mr Roberts will provide the mentors with a copy of the rules for each challenge prior to the event. The Communities select a team who turn up to take the challenge.
1. Wednesday 1st October 2008 – 3.15 – 4.15 – Target Golf
2. Wednesday 22nd October 2008 – 3.15 – 4.15 – Can’t Cook, Won’t Cook
3. Wednesday 26th November 2008 – 3.15 – 4.15 – Quiz
4. Wednesday 21st January 2009 – 3.15 – 4.15 – I’m a Student, Get me Out of Here
5. Wednesday 4th March 2009 – 3.15 – 4.15 – Tug of War.
6. Wednesday 1st April 2009 – 3.15 – 4.15 – Last Choir Standing
7. Wednesday 20th May 2009 – 3.15 – 4.15 – Graffiti Art.
The 4 Communities are playing for the Inter Community Challenge Cup which will be awarded to the Community with the highest points.
Points are awarded as follows:
· 4 pts for a win.
· 3 pts for runner – up.
· 2 pts for 3rd place.
· 1 pt for 4th place.
